Official sources first
Current promotional claims should be verified against merchant-controlled sources whenever possible. Secondary sources can support discovery, but they do not automatically establish that a code is public or current.
Unknown means unknown
Unknown expiration dates, minimum spends, eligibility details and codes remain null. They are never guessed from another merchant, an old snippet or a common promotion pattern.
Evidence records
Current active and targeted offers require at least one evidence record with a source name, URL and real checked timestamp.
Expired history
Useful expired records are preserved with expired status so they cannot reappear as active and so automation can recognize stale claims.
